The Design Lab has been working on several projects that explore digital fabrication. The first, pre-fab micro-housing prototypes, will utilize Digital Fabrication as a means of precision and efficiency. The second, the Fay Jones’ Edmondson House arbor structure reconstruction, utilizes digital fabrication for historic preservation. Jerry has experimented with this technology at the Georgia Tech Digital Fabrication Lab, where he guided students in the design and production of seating for the new Georgia Tech library digital media bridge.
