Ron Clark Academy

The Ron Clark Academy is a private middle school (5th-8th grade) located in Southeast Atlanta. Redeveloped from an existing industrial warehouse site, the campus includes new buildings and renovations of existing buildings.

Classroom Building

The Ron Clark Academy Classroom Building Interiors were selected to inspire the students with a fun and lively place to learn. Special features include the lobby reception area, the custom bamboo flooring, staircase of coins, and the secret library door entrance to Mr. Clark’s original classroom.

Library

The Ron Clark Academy library is an adaptive reuse of a 1960’s office building. The project features a new mezzanine level created by removing a portion of the second floor. Interior features include custom bookshelves, reading tables, circulation area, and coffee bar.

Recording Studio-Cafeteria Complex

The Ron Clark Academy Recording Studio-Cafeteria Complex will house the music program as well as the kitchen/cafeteria. The complex features recording studios, a TV production room, and a rooftop terrace. The building will achieve a US Green Building Council’s LEED rating and feature sustainable design features.
